Healthcare Marketing and Physician Strategies Summit
This conference was originally supposed to take place from April 5-7, 2020. While the conference is canceled at this time, the organizers are looking into the possibility of rescheduling in the summer, as well as scheduling a virtual experience.
This conference is hosted by the Forum for Healthcare Strategists and is designed for health executives in marketing, public relations, advertising, communication, and other executives involved in marketing strategy. The goal of the summit is to help healthcare marketers develop strategies to address new and emerging challenges using case studies of leading healthcare organizations, keynote speakers, and hands-on workshops.
9th Digital Marketing for Medical Devices West
This conference was supposed to take place from April 22-24, 2020, but has since been canceled. Those who have registered for this event may have their registration transferred to the 10th Digital Marketing for Medical Devices Event in Minneapolis, MN this September if desired.
At this conference, professionals in the medical device industry will learn more about improving brand recognition and increasing sales among their target audiences. Attendees include marketing, social media, advertising, brand management, and product management professionals within the medical device industry.
10TH DIGITAL MARKETING FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
New Date: September 2020
This conference was to initially take place from August 3-5, 2020, but will be moved to a new date in September 2020 that has not yet been announced.
At this sister conference to Digital Marketing for Medical Devices West, professionals in the medical device industry will learn more about digital marketing initiatives. Topics covered include changes in the medical device industry, engaging with potential customers, and overcoming challenges. Attendees include medical device professionals in marketing, social media, advertising, brand management, and product management.
PATIENT EXPERIENCE SYMPOSIUM 2020
New Date: Sept. 30 – Oct. 2, 2020
This event was originally supposed to take place from May 11-13, 2020.
This event brings together leaders and stakeholders in healthcare, with the goal of improving patient experience. Attendees include thought leaders, healthcare executives, clinical trial operators, administrators, health IT experts, physicians, and nurse leaders. Topics are focused on ideas and strategies to enhance the patient experience, including best practices, trends, and answers to common issues and pain points.
HOSPITAL MARKETING NATIONAL SPRING CONFERENCE
New Date: Oct. 8, 2020
This event was supposed to take place on May 14, 2020, but will now combine with the HMN Fall Conference in October.
This event is solely focused on executing marketing strategies for hospitals. Attendees include advertising agencies, media companies, PR firms, hospital and healthcare marketers, media buyers, and healthcare providers. Topics discussed at this conference include hospital marketing best practices, choosing the best media mix, developing successful marketing campaigns, and highlighting key practice areas.
Health IT Marketing & PR Conference (HITMC)
New Dates Unavailable
This event was supposed to take place from May 12-14, 2020. Organizers have decided to postpone this event until later in the year; however, a new date has not yet been set.
This event focuses on marketing and PR in healthcare, including social media marketing, healthcare advertising, lead generation, event public relations, blogging, search engine optimization (SEO), and content marketing. Attendees include marketing managers and PR professionals at health IT companies, digital marketers in health IT, and health IT executives focused on marketing. Speakers include healthcare IT marketing and PR experts, as well as marketing and PR experts from outside the healthcare space.
NORTH ENGLAND SOCIETY FOR HEALTHCARE COMMUNICATIONS (NESHCO) SPRING CONFERENCE

This event was supposed to take place from May 27-29, 2020. The organizers are looking into rescheduling in the fall.
NESHCo is a professional society for those in healthcare communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, and public affairs. The organization’s spring conference is one of the largest regional healthcare conferences. Attendees can meet with exhibitors to learn more about available products and services.
